Hannah joined the Dannevirke team in January 2018 and is enjoying being part of a fast-growing practice that offers a varied caseload of both production and companion work in a part of the country that can only be described as a gateway to the great outdoors which feeds in nicely to her other passion of multi-sports and outdoor pursuits.

Mary’s wealth of knowledge and commitment to clients makes her an integral part of not just the Tararua Vet team but also yours on the farm. However, when she’s not immersing herself in the challenge of the day out in the field or back here in the clinic, she can be found rearing calves on her home block or tramping the vast scopes of whatever mountain she’s decided to concur.




Suzie WestonSuzie Weston BVSc
Companion Animal Veterinarian

Suzie is a long-standing member of the Dannevirke clinic and heads the companion animal department, her versatility also means she can be found out on farm calving cows and treating other emergencies as they arise. You can expect continuity of care from Suzie along with genuine compassion and knowledge in her field. Suzie is extremely passionate about her work and is known for going above and beyond for your furry friends.

Sarah has been with TVS since 2013 and takes pride in giving you and your companion all the TLC she can to ensure an enjoyable experience. Along with running a pet weight loss clinic, you will also see Sarah out on the farm as she swaps her scrubs for overalls and rolls up her sleeves to assist with calf dis-budding and teatsealing. Sarah’s passion for animals is not restricted to professional life as she has quite the menagerie at home too with dogs, cats, goats, chickens, and calves waiting for her at the end of the day.




Jessie PopeJessie Pope
Vet Nurse

Jessie joined us at the beginning of 2018 and very quickly became an essential part of the team, she has a keen interest in the surgical and anaesthetic side of her work but also enjoys the variety that comes with working in a rural-based Vet clinic. Jessie runs our puppy pre-school classes; her knowledge and bubbly personality help reassure any new puppy owner about what to expect of their new family member and best of all how to deal with it. Jessie has been around animals her whole life and hails from a sheep and beef farm in the Waikato making her comfortable with all animals small and large.
